I am currently building up a raptor 60 to 90 conversion and have a question about the 90 std frames.
This particular heli has quick uk carbon frames and after getting the engine fitted for purely build purposes and not final fit along with the main gear and pinion assembly their is no play at all for aligment as the holes in the frames are not slotted and after checking the aligment of the main gear to the pinion gear the aligment is way off and its not very smooth.
I wondered if the raptor 90 STD frames supplied in the current kits are slotted esp in the areas of main gear/pinion gear etc to allow us to change the alignment.
I have been looking at some pics as best as possible on the net and the new 90 STD frames do look slotted but its hard to actually tell.
Anyone here own a rap 90 std and could confirm for me if the frames are slotted as the quick ones in front of me have no room for any movement and the gear mesh is just plain pants...
