Default 600N one way bearing problem

My NEW one way bearing has locked up(HN6064BA) It has done about 6-8 flights together with new gears. I noticed a noise when doing a full power climb out. It sounded like the engine was missing but I think it was the sleeve slipping. I’ve stripped the gears out but mow the the sleeve is solid, it will not move . This was supposed to be a new and improved one! Any one else had this ?

You've probably tightened the bottom jesus bolt to tightly

Saw this today, was with a guy who had it happen on his old (but new version) hub, bought a new one, flew it once, just as bad

You might be right. Put my original 4 year old one back in and it ran perfectly. The new one must be made out of softer material or I just don't know my own strength.

The bottom Jesus bolt needs nipping, thats all. Do it too tight you deform the whole assembly. Literally srew it up and as soon as it tightens back off a 1/4 I've never had one fail, always greased and not over tight.

My 550 has done the same thing today and I must admit I do tighten the jesus bolt a bit much! Can I just slacken it off or do I need to replace anything?

I reckon just back it off Glen. Loosen it completely and then do it back up until you feel it bite, then stop and leave it at that

Hi all I was just going to start a thread but it seams related to this topic, when I spin the main gear on my 600n it dosen't spin as mush as it should, it spins fine when it is out of the Heli. It seams it is meshed to tightly yet there is no adjustment, I have backed off the jesus bolt, and a friend suggested the frame maybe twisted so we undone all the fixing on the side frames and still no joy, so before I start striping it down again, I was wondering if anyone has had this before and can point me i the right direction.

Seriously, don't overdo the bottom Jesus bolt, put some grease in and forget about it. I've owned a 600 for around 3 years and never replaced a bearing, the cheap bearing supplied with the kit is still working fine.

Mine is so loose there is lateral play in it, OWB has gone I'd imagine.

For £24 it's a bargain if your Heli dropped out the air twice an cost you £150 you'd be kicking yourself not to do it , depends how hard your pushing your leccy!
