No-one seems to agree. People will say you can't make the 90mm tail meet a 550 blade, but I'm sure I've seen photos of the carnage. I'm sure if you run a respectable head speed then there won't be a problem. I like to run quite low headspeed though so I played it safe - the 85mm KBDD seemed to have enough authority for me in that situation. Not so much luck with the Align CF.

84.5mm KBDD's They seem to have enough tail authority to me and look great too. There also cheaper than the aligns and others but fly better as well

I use 553mm main & 92mm tail on my Logo 500 & there's loads of clearance. I'm only using 92mm because 85's were out of stock but they are fine. You need to bring the gain down loads though, probably half of whatever you use. Also with 85mm tail's you can run upto 560mm main blades. I have a set of 560mm Rotortech i use to use with 85mm tails but i've not used them for a long time now so i'm not sure if they'd clear the 92's Oh & i run a full 100% flat throttle & fly it as hard as i can. Unless the Trex has massively longer blade grips than a Logo you'll be fine.

I have used anything from 85mm to 92mm on both FB and FBL.
Been there and done that, but never stop learning.
Now too many Helis to mention?
