I can't understand why it would take so long to ship a few parts to the UK in the 21st century.
Align are selling this as an upgrade not a fix so if the distributor has lots of A versions he/they are not going to order shed loads of B versions, which has already been made clear by an earlier poster.

If it isn't a fix then why does part no HN6103A NOT work without shims? I'm a customer not a distributor and want to buy the part that works. I'm not going to buy the old part just because a dist, wants to deplete his old stock. I try to support local dist but with that attitude I'm forced elsewhere. Rant over.

Don't shoot the messenger, ask the distributor and Align. If you go to the Align site it is shown as an upgrade. Almost everyone knows the reason for the shims in the hub except the guy at Align when he made version A. lol.

I have a 500EFL and managed to find an ebay seller of the B version hub for that around Christmas before I even started the build.

Quick uk part arrived today. It is expensive but I think it's worth it. The quality is brilliant. My part came with a extra long grub screw specially for the 700 which works well.

I have the 600 e pro. I noticed a lot of slop in the blade holder when I built it but the tail seems to work all right. I am only hovering as yet.
I will probably replace it with the V2 or b, after I crash it.
If I buy the HN6103b do I also need the V2 pitch assembly and control arm?

You only need the b version hub if that is what you want. It should be made clear that between the radial bearing and the thrust bearing for best practice a shim is inserted so that the inner race of the radial bearing is not pressed up against the thrust bearing and cause it to lock up. If your version A is working for you it will probably continue to work but it is not best practice.

There will be as much end float in the version b hub as there is in the version a assuming the tolerences are maintained in both cases.
