    Default 600n with the shakes

hi i was just wondering if this is normal? my heli is brand new and is smooth as, but if i lean her out it gets a little shake looks bad with training gear, but take that off its not a bad shake. But a shake nonetheless richen it up so its smokes the field out and its smoothe again. Can't find anything wrong on it all tight with no binding

    cheers terry

p.s seems to fly and punch into the sky ok.

I'm a bit confused by the training gear bit but it flys okay. Why do you have training gear on if you can fly? Anyway, if you're leaning it out, if you're not running a governor I would suggest that the headspeed is getting to a point with training gear on that you are causing the shake or the downwash on the training gear from the blades are causing it

training gear was on as im a noob and was running engine in. But i done the last half gal with em off, just bit worried at first new heli and big adrenalin.

Anyways when the head spead picks up whilst rich its seams fine. But on leaning it out it gets a bit shaky when head speed picks up on take off, dosnt sound like engine running any faster unless i hit idle up then the shake is less

    thanks terry

no govenor hopefully its what u say as its not too bad with it off but was in idle up i take it for a wurl in couple days and get a vid if some 1 wiv me hopefully just a typical 600 wobble

Set the engine to default settings and use it there, you don't need to lean it out. If it's a new engine run the engine rich for a few tanks before even thinking of tuning it.

But i done the last half gal with em off
I reckon that is a few tanks?

Where is the main needle now Terry? Is it less than 1 1/2 turns? At the moment we have cold weather and as you know from running cars it does require a richer setting. What does the exhaust note sound like?

hi andy its about 1 1/8 on opti slv 20%. but i have been playin with needle so may of had it a click or 2 leaner when shook. Exhaust is very smoky and sounds good no ying sonds and back plate on leanest setting is warm but can hold finger all day bottm end is super rich have to play with stick to get it to rev.

you know what as i type this im thinking keep top end nice and rich and lean the bottom a tad

cheers fellas mabe a bit lean causin it?

p.s 1 1/2 turns would not start unless it just come out the warm had to crack off glow plug or it hydrolocked then would just spit raw full out and stay stone cold

done about 6 tanks or so b4 trying tune then about 9 tanks with gear off so loads of fuel yes soon as i had shakes went rich again

I don't get it at all sorry
If its fine in a hover at a low head-speed but shakes when you want a higher head-speed is it not the gyro gain?
If when you want a higher head-speed using training gear then as said I think it could be a issue with the wind down force especially if it's not doing it with the gear off
From your first post sounds like you are running a way to high headspeed if your leaning out and no smoke

I was out with my 600 for the first time on Sunday in high winds and if I pointed the heli nose in to wind my tail would shake like mad and this was a gyro gain issue .. Good luck with your setup let us no how you get on
