    Default 600le 3g v3.0 setup

hi i'm new to flybarless does anyone recommend a good setup or do i just fly the standard setup and start from there? Oh and if your adjusting at the field do you fly with the Y lead attached because i dont like the thought of plugging it in and out each flight.
    Thanks

Search for member 'coolice' and see his posts, he is the '3g' guru.

I fly with the 'y' lead permanently attached. Had too many problems with poor connections before, cost me 2 crashes.

    Hey.

I have some good 3G settings for writing to the 3G once you have done the DIR setup steps.

As above, on all my models I fit and leave in place a Y lead. As like yourself I didn't think constant disconnecting was a good idea.

If you want my honest opinion go to V2.1 firmware and not V3. While V3 improves the tail I was not happy with the cyclic feel and could not get my models flying as well on V3 as I did with 2.1 so I am now running 2.1 again.

    Hey.

Align do give you some half decent explanations of what each slider does, from here in my case I knew what I was trying to eradicate in how the model felt then moved the sliders which corrisponded best to what I wanted to fix.
Unfortunately this type of messing about is not for everyone, I've been in the hobby for a lot of years and so have come to understand what certain changes make to a models feel.

    Hey.

Try writing my 550E settings to your 3G and see if it helps.

Hi coolice. crustysphinkter and I both have Leon Luke's settings and they are the dogs doodahs. Flips in about 2 millseconds and rolls in about 1 millisecond (only joking). YOUR settings are very GOOD too. We are just learning with the FBL and I am just learning PERIOD. Such a great learning curve. It certainly gets the blood churning.
