    Default 3D Championships Pilots....

It was certainly a very good event and many top class flights I really enjoyed it.

The only thing was getting to talk to the top pilots about their own styles and moves. They were all so engrossed in the competition (and rightly so).

Most of us have one hell of a lot to learn before we even get close to these guys so I was wondering what are the chances that some of you guys may come to the RCHA fly-in next year and put on a few demo flights without the stress of competition?

I guess it'll be hard work and there will be many novice flyers with dumb questions but everyone has to start somewhere. It would be great to see you there guys. Even better to have a few of you stood there showing the youngsters/novices the beginnings of 3D competition.

If for no other reason just come and have a laugh - what's the chances guys ?

But also we are from Thursday to Sunday its regretable that we clash but only for one year in 2013 it will go back to being the last weekend in July like this years. Plenty of fun is being arranged and more public will be attending.

I fancy going to this one, have to see what the diary allows nearer the time

If the public are gonna be there, does this not then require pilots to hold a "B"?

    No it just requires insurance.

I think because its a fun fly and not a competition it only needs insurance Jamie

We have an idea also will require some pilots to work with 4 kids that have never flown before in a little friendly challenge using some mcpx's. Plus were looking at a wifi shoulder cam to video a p&p on a screen showing how certain manouvers are performed. Sometimes its easier to watch it being done with some video magic and help to crack the manouver that seems to be out of reach. That would be about all of them for me.......lol

Great ideas!! I'm up for helping the kids but I think MSRs or something would be a better choice than a advanced mcpx.
