    Hi guys,


    Thanks all . Just to make it clear quickly I got first place in Intermediates . Duncan Osborn came 1st in the Champions one.

    I am very surprised and happy with my first competition results! I thought pretty sure I was going to come last!!

    A shame about my victory flight where my pack fell out, guess I need to use three anti slip straps lol... Luckily the remaining power in the ESC allowed me to land safely!!

    A big thanks to all those who have supported and cheered on me!

    A big thanks to all the hard work done for the event.

    A massive thanks to Grant for calling for me, you did a superb job!

    Just got back home and wanted to add my congratulations.
    Firstly thanks to Mike, Rob and All the helpers who put on a great weekend for us
    For me my highlights were
    Flight of the weekend. Duncan Osbournes flight to music on Saturday, absolutely awesome
    Night flight. Pete Aryess Trex 700 at night, no nightgear just a couple of guys holding torches, amazing
    Spank of the weekend. Rob Turnbulls tail-slide/lawn- dart in the Hightower fling
    Pilot of the weekend. Laurence Gough. I have never met him before or seen him fly, but to perform like that in his First Competition was just outstanding. Yes Duncan won the champions class, but I think we all would have been surprised if he had not, I don't think anyone was expecting the dominance In his class that Laurence achieved.
    Well done that man, seriously well deserved.
